Who are the Grand National 2025 presenters on ITV?

Published on March 31, 2025 at 06:39 AM

The Grand National is back on Saturday, with hundreds of thousands heading to Aintree to catch the biggest race of the year.

In 2024, I Am Maximus stormed to a brilliant victory, giving trainer Willie Mullins his second win in the iconic race.

File photo dated 13-04-2024 of Paul Townend winning the Grand National aboard I Am Maximus. After a 19-year wait, Mullins' search for a second National hero came to an end, with I Am Maximus - who just like Hedgehunter had warmed up for Aintree by winning the Bobbyjo Chase at Fairyhouse - almost sprinting home to strike gold in the hands of Paul Townend. Long-time market leaders Intense Raffles and Iroko plus Willie‘s defending champion are all Grand National favourites.

Aintree‘s featured race will be broadcast on ITV1 once again, with some familiar faces set to feature during live coverage.

SunSport has all the names that will be working for ITV during the three-day spectacle.

Who are the Grand National 2025 presenters on ITV?

Fronted by Ed Chamberlin, ITV Racing will bring viewers five top-class races a day throughout the three-day Festival.

There will be an extended show lined up for Grand National Day itself.

The BAFTA-winning ITV team includes expert pundits and former Grand National-winning jockeys Sir Anthony McCoy, Ruby Walsh, and Alice Plunkett.

They'll be joined by presenter and former Olympian Sam Quek, who’ll be covering all the action from Aintree.

Speaking on the Nick Luck Daily Podcast, she said: “I can’t wait to get to Aintree, although I think I just need to temper expectations as well.

“I don’t know whether people think I’m going to be replacing AP [McCoy] or Ruby [Walsh] or Alice [Plunkett] – absolutely not.

“I’m going to let them do the talking and the analysis as usual.”

Oli Bell will be keeping things lively in the social stable, chatting with viewers at home and diving into all the key stats.

Calling the races across the three days will be the brilliant trio of Richard Hoiles, Mark Johnson and Stewart Machin.

On Saturday, Oli will be joined by Ruby Walsh for a detailed, fence-by-fence breakdown of the Grand National.

The Opening Show will air on ITV4 each day, switching to ITV1 on Saturday.

Hosted by Oli, it’ll preview all the big races and capture the buzz around the course each morning.

He’ll be joined by a mix of special guests throughout the Festival, including a stellar Saturday line-up featuring Sir Anthony and Ruby.
