US Senate Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer, a New York Democrat politicians has called on President Donald Trump to sack the country's Defence Secretary, Pete Hegseth.
Schumer, who made the call in a post on his X account on Sunday night, claimed that Hegseth keeps putting lives at risk.
“The details keep coming out. We keep learning how Pete Hegseth put lives at risk.
“But Trump is still too weak to fire him. Pete Hegseth must be fired,” Schumer said.
Schumer's comments is coming after Yemen's Houthi rebels reported another
The Houthis said at least twelve people had been killed, with thirty more injured.
Meanwhile, the United States said its bombing campaign is in response to Houthi attacks on Red Sea shipping lanes.
