Former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has shared his opinion on Antonio Rudiger’s behavior during the Los Blancos’ Copa del Rey final defeat against Barcelona on last weekend.

Rudiger lost his cool at the referee, De Burgos Bengoetxea, during the final minutes of the game as Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 3-2 in Sevilla.

The German defender threw ice cubes at the referee from the bench.

The former Chelsea star then received a red card for his behaviour.

Speaking at an Icon League event in Düsseldorf, Kroos suggested that his fellow countryman will get punishment for his behaviour.

“He will get his punishment, and it will be justified. But we still don’t have to act as if he killed someone,”; Kroos said.

“You always have to be a bit careful not to go with the flow.”;
