He has been running well at Chelmsford and was beaten less than a length there off this mark last time. This trip and track suit even better and his rider is good value for his 5lb claim.

GOLD STANDARD (2.50 Lingfield, nb)

Timed his run just a little too late when a close-up third on his latest start. He looks weighted for another big effort.

GOLDEN CHAIN (7.00 Wolverhampton, treble)

Was a close-up fourth over 1m2f at Lingfield last time and this longer distance should be ideal.
