SEVENOFUS (3.05 Taunton, nap)

She enjoyed switching back to hurdles here last time when an excellent second. That was a conditionals’ race so today’s pilot Elizabeth Gale wasn’t able to use her allowance. That’s not the case today and her 7lb takes her right down the weights. Today can be the day when she gets off the mark.

REWIRED (4.20 Hexham, nb)

He ran his best race for a good while when scoring easily at Newcastle last time out. He was in front a fair way from home and kept powering up the straight. A 4lb rise in the weights is more than fair and he’ll be right on the premises again.

THROUGH THE AGES (4.35 Taunton, treble)

He was chinned near the line at Lingfield last month. That was a much improved effort and today’s first-time cheekpieces could give him another little boost. This is a modest race for the grade and he can go one better.

IMPERFECTLYPERFECT (5.25 Hexham, Lucky 15)

He showed lots of promise when third at Kelso on debut and the form has already been franked. He stayed on strongly at that stamina-sapping track so Hexham should be ideal too.
