A HUGE blast has ripped through a house following a reported gas explosion, as neighbours were evacuated.
Cops raced to the scene in this evening, where they found the home collapsed – as well as damage to neighbouring properties.

Multiple houses have been evacuated following the blast, according to Nottinghamshire Police.
The force added that it was working to “account for all local residents”.
Locals quickly took to Facebook following the explosion, with one writing: “I was driving back from Mass this evening, just turned into Gladstone Street from Gateford Road, when there was a terrific bang, like a very loud firework! I thought the back end had blown off my car.”
Meanwhile, neighbour said their house “shook” after the explosion, writing: “It shook the whole house i thought someone had drove into to my front room.”
In a statement, Chief Inspector Neil Humphris said: “This is major incident and emergency services will remain at the scene throughout the night.
“Multiple properties have been evacuated as we work with our partners to respond to this incident and understand how it happened.”
A Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “Firefighters are currently dealing with a gas explosion on John Street, Worksop.
“Fire crews from Warsop, Worksop and Mansfield Fire Station as well as Clowne Fire Station (Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service) are currently in attendance following the initial call at 7.39pm this evening.
“We ask that the public to avoid the area whilst crews do their work.”
