I tried Fabulosa’s floor cleaner in must-have new scent – the smell lasts for 48 hours

WHEN I heard that Fabulosa released a brand new, fresh cleaning range this spring, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it.

The bargain brand already has an army of devoted cleaning fanatics who have cupboards full of its disinfectants.

And its new fragrance has gown down a treat with shoppers after it hit shelves in B&M, with prices starting at just £1.

The fragrance-led home and lifestyle brand revealed that the new scent is part of their fan-favourite Your Sol Mate' collection.

It came after the success of their previous launch of Summer Crush earlier this year and bosses decided to introduce a new smell to the range of tropical scent medlies.

The new Hummingbird fragrance has notes of pink dragonfruit, lychee, Brazilian jasmine, ocean air and hibiscus, with a base of creamy vanilla and rich sun musk.

And bosses said the sun-soaked notes will transport you to the Brazilian shores as you spray it around your home.

But I decided to try it out myself to really put it to the test.

The new scent is available in a 220ml Concentrated Multi-Purpose Cleaner, a one-litre Floor Cleaner and a 750ml Multi-Purpose Cleaner.

So I opted to try the floor cleaner to see how well it works.

As soon as I opened the massive jug I could smell the sweet vanilla and pink dragonfruit instantly – I love sweet smells so I immediately loved it.

And since you only need to pour two capsules into a five-litre mop bucket, the massive jug will last for ages.

Firstly I tried it on my kitchen floor, which has a couple of marks on it, before I took it into my loving room.

I have wooden laminate floors all over the bottom of the house, and the bottle says it is ideal for any hard surface, so I was keen to see how well it would work.

The mop just flowed over the floor and the cleaning solution very quickly picked up all the little marks and scuffs with virtually no effort.

We all love a flood cleaner that works, but this REALLY works, I could immediately tell the difference in the room when it was halfway there.

But it was the living room where I could see the main difference.

When the floor had completely dried, the cleaner left a lovely shine on the surface and it felt lovely under my feet to walk on.

Even though the new Hummingbird scent is nice and sweet, it's far from sickly-sweet or overpowering.

It's actually very subtle and you can smell it when you're walking through the room without it being too strong.

And the best part is that the smell lasted for a very long time – I could smell it for two full days after I first mopped.

That's 48 hours of freshness before it started to fade.

And if you then use the spray in the kitchen on top of it, then your home really is transported to the Brazillian shores.
