How iconic 90s actress from Bad Boys and Beverly Hills Cop ended up ‘homeless and living on Skid Row’

IN THE 90s Theresa Randle was at the top of her game as one of Hollywood's leading ladies, with roles in iconic movies like Bad Boys and Beverly Hills Cop.

But fast forward three decades and the actress caused “concern” when she was spotted on Los Angeles‘ notorious Skid Row with fans fearing she was now “homeless”.

Theresa burst onto the scene in the late 80s as a young actress hungry for fame and fortune in Tinsel Town.

And it wasn't long until she got her big break in Hollywood.

After impressing tough casting agents in the early 90s, she landed a role in the legendary film Malcolm X (1992) alongside Denzel Washington.

This in turn lead to more big parts including playing Janice Perkins, Eddie Murphy‘s love interest, in Beverly Hills Cop III (1994).

Theresa also had a starring role in the blockbuster, Space Jam (1996).

BAD BOYS FAME

However, Theresa is best known for playing Theresa Burnett, the wife of Martin Lawrence's character Marcus Burnett, in the Bad Boys movies.

When Will Smith and Martin brought back the iconic movie franchise in 2020 for a third film, the actress was thrilled to be asked back to play the role again.

Speaking about reprising her character in movie Bad Boys For Life, Theresa told the Los Angeles Times at the time: “She still remains laughing at both of them because they want to be so grown, so mature.

“They're still the same Mike [Will Smith] and Marcus that she's always known.

“And she still has to come in between them. Nothing has really changed.”;

HARD TIMES

However, despite this Theresa wasn't in the fourth movie in the franchise, Bad Boys: Ride Or Die.

When the film was released last year, she was noticeably absent after not being asked back to play the role of Marcus’ wife.

Days after the news broke that her Bad Boys role had been recast and she had been replaced by actress Tasha Smith, a worrying video of Theresa emerged.

The footage was taken in 2023 by a concerned fan who spotted her on Los Angeles' infamous Skid Row.

The area in Downtown LA contains the largest population of homeless people in the US, with over four thousand people setting up camp there.

It is also notoriously dangerous, and an unsafe area to be in, especially at night.

That's why alarm was raised when a video emerged of Theresa hobbling around Skid Row, using a walking frame.

Fans were concerned that the actress was now “homeless” and living in the notorious area.

Roger Neal,the actress' former manager and publicist, confirmed it was his ex-client in the video.

‘That's definitely her. 100 percent,” he said to RadarOnline at the time, and added that the clip raised “concerns” for her welfare.

Roger went onto reveal that he no longer had any contact details for Theresa, but that she had once lived in Beverly Hills.

Other people who spotted her on Skid Row claimed was just “helping others” and did not confirm she was living their herself.

SHOCK ARREST

The Skid Row sighting two years ago was the last time Theresa was spotted publicly.

However, last year she hit the headlines when she was arrested for felony assault in Los Angeles.

Theresa was detained following an incident that happened on October 5, 2024.

Law enforcement told TMZ that cops were called to a home in the L.A. area over an alleged assault.

They said that Theresa had already left the scene when they got there.

Two days later police were called out again to an alleged domestic violence issue and restraining order violation at the same house.

This time when the cops arrived, Theresa was at the home and she was arrested for an alleged felony assault that occurred on October 5, 2024.

The movie star appeared in court on October 9, 2024, but the District Attorney notably rejected the case.
