AN iconic Rolls-Royce which was driven by Winston Churchill during WW2 is going up for auction for an eye-watering price.
The 1936 Phantom II limousine is going under the hammer next month and is expected to fetch up to £130,000.

Always chauffeur driven, the impressive motor became known as the “Green Car” because of its quintessentially British black and green painted body.
Occupied at one time by no other than Prime Minister , the car is no stranger to VIP passengers.
Former US President Dwight D. Eisenhower once rode in the vehicle, as well as HM King George VI.
The touring A-list occupants even included Field Marshal Montgomery, who was often driven around in the car during the Second World War in the months leading up to .
Historics Auctioneers have issued a guide price of between £115,000 and £130,000 for the historical vehicle and said it will be offered to the highest bidder on May 3.
In comparison, when it last changed hands in December 2017, the iconic motor went for £143,750.
Car and enthusiasts will be excited to learn too that it is still equipped with a custom electric cigar lighter in the rear compartment, which was installed for Churchill at the time.
The car is one of only 710 of the Series III Phantoms built before production was stopped ahead of WW2 – and fewer than 300 still exist today.

As ‘s first ever V12 motor car, it has a 7.3 litre 12-cylinder engine – and has since undergone a full renovation.
Following a service at Classic in 2017 for over £11,000, the car is now equipped with a comprehensive engine service, a new exhaust system, and an alloy carburettor.
And although its engine is still running “very smoothly” the auction house recommends the car undergo some recommissioning to fix some “coughs in the exhaust”.
This, it adds, is likely because it hasn't been used for some time and may have an exhaust leak.
The car has been described as an “extraordinary piece of ” which is fit with “unparalleled “.
Having famously transported some of the world's most prominent figures, the vehicle has been listed as a must-have for any motor or enthusiast.
The listing states: “The extensive history file for this vehicle is a testament to its remarkable past, including its original wartime requisition letter.
“Supplied to auction with V5C registration document, highly detailed history folder and fitted toolkit in the boot, this Phantom III would be welcome at many top-level events and deserves to be shown around the world.”
