Real Madrid legend, Raul has opened up about rumours of potentially replacing Carlo Ancelotti as the club’s next manager.

Ancelotti’s future with Real Madrid has been subject to speculation in recent weeks.

It has been widely reported that the Italian could be on his way out at the end of the season.

Ancelotti has been linked with the Brazil national team head coach as he contract with the Los Blancos will expire in 2026.

Speaking on the development, Raul, who has been managing Real Madrid Castilla since 2019, said he is calm.

The Spaniard said (via Tribal Football): “I’m happy to be here; I’m in the place I want to be.

“When the time comes to evaluate and when the club makes decisions, if they ever make them, which I don’t know, we will see.

“Now the most important thing is to remain calm and collected. We are at the end of the season and there is still a lot at stake.

“I think there will be time to evaluate and make decisions that could affect the club and then, personally, me. But I’m very calm.”;

Raul spent 16 years of his professional football career at Real Madrid, making 741 appearances and contributing 323 goals and 135 assists.
