2025 NLO season kicks-off in Abuja

Hostilities will begin on Wednesday (today) in the 2025 Nationwide League One, NLO,) season.

Hyperbuzz FC will square off against Likeminds FC in the opening fixture of the campaign at the Bwari Stadium in Abuja.

The match, which is billed to kick off at 3 p.m., will be live on NLO TV.

Other matches from matchday one will see Katsina Jnr FC take on Jnr Danburam FC, Super Tigers FC battle Bakori FC, FC Gwammaja face Tudun Wada FC, and BIB FC take on TAHIR Babes FC.

All the matches will be played at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.

At the OISA Centre, Inter FC Aba will face FC Onapal, Jaguar FC will take on Bright Stars, Buberio FC will battle Ahudiyannem FC, Enyimba Feeders will clash with Right 2 Win FC, and Aba FC will face City Stars FC.

Synergy FC will clash with Tradesafe FC, Magic Stars FC will battle Dosu Joseph FC, Emmydinho will lock horns with Divine Praise FC, Victory FC will play Smart City Feeders, and North York FC will take on Collins Edwin FC at the Legacy Pitch in Lagos.

Other match centres will be hosted at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu, Awka City Stadium in Anambra, Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi, Pantami Stadium in Gombe, August 27 Stadium in Yobe, Gumel Stadium in Jigawa, and Lafia City Stadium.

Other group fixtures will kick off on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

The winner from each group will battle in the promotion playoff at the end of the season.

Over 160 teams will take part in the league this season.
