Peseiro
Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, has attributed his side’s 1-1 draw against Lesotho to bad luck.

Peseiro’s men were the overwhelming favourites heading into the game but were left frustrated as the visitors , who put up a resolute performance.

The Super Eagles also failed to convert some of the chances they created.

Leicester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho had a free kick saved in the first half and hit the woodwork in the second half.

Ademola Lookman also missed another chance before the break.

Peseiro stated that it was a bad day for his side.

“We had 76% of the ball possession against 24% (by Lesotho), the opponents only had two chances to score and scored a goal,”; he said after the game.

“We had many chances to score. It was bad luck.”;

The Super Eagles will face Zimbabwe in their next game on Sunday.
