A NINETIES pop legend has been forced to cancel their gig at the last minute after they fell ill before the show.

This singer, now 55, has a huge army of fans after selling millions of records and won two and two during their career.

The singer revealed she has had to cancel one of shows on her comeback tour

Singer , known for hits including Dreams, Rise and Out of Reach, has revealed she has had to pull out of one of concerts at the last minute after feeling unwell.

The iconic star was due to perform in ‘s O2 City Hall tonight.

But sadly she is now unable to perform.

Taking to her Stories, posted: “Newcastle I'm so sorry.

“It breaks my heart to say this, but I have to postpone tomorrow's show due to illness.

“This was not an easy decision, and I'm absolutely gutted.

“More than anything, I want to give you an incredible show, and right now I wouldn't be able to do that.

“We are working on rescheduling the show and will keep you updated as soon as we have more details.”

The heartbroken singer ended the message with: “Love you all.”

GABRIELLE'S COMEBACK

She revealed at that time that because her kids are all grown up, she can focus on working again.

Speaking to the Mirror, Gabrielle said: “I no longer have to rush back for the school run or worry about embarrassing my kids at school.

“Do I feel more comfortable now than ever? 100%. I feel less afraid and more confident in my own skin. I am in my 50s now and I feel like if I don’t learn to love and accept myself now, I never will.”

Gabrielle confessed there was a time she thought she'd never return to the stage.

She added: “Performing in arenas again is a professional dream coming true.

“I would love to have a career like Sir , who is still performing in his 70s.

“That’s how I see myself. While people still want to see me on stage, I still want to be on stage.”

MASKED SINGER FAME

She admitted how she “nearly walked out on the first day” but added: “I’m glad I ended up staying and seeing it through and had a whale of a time”;.

Asked why she wanted to quit, Gabrielle replied: “Menopausal woman, that hot mask nearly killed me!”;

She added that the mask was very “heavy”; and she wasn't able to fan her face.

Although it was a “crazy”; experience, Gabrielle said she “enjoyed it”;.
