Published on April 24, 2025 at 10:58 AM

Holders D'Tigress of Nigeria have been drawn in Group D of the 2025 Women's AfroBasket Championship with Mozambique and Rwanda.

Rena Wakama's side will be looking to extend their reign by winning the title for a record seventh time at Cote d'Ivoire 2025.

D'Tigress had a memorable outing at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris where they made it to the quarter-finals.

They would be expected to build on their impressive outing at the AfroBasket Championship.

Hosts Cote d'Ivoire will face powerhouses Angola and Egypt in Group A.

Mali, Cameroon and South Sudan will slug it out in Group B, while Senegal, Uganda and Guinea will do battle in Group C.

The AfroBasket 2025 will run from 26 July to 3 August.

All the matches will be played at the Palais des Sports de Treichville.
