One episode of the long-running BBC competition show has been replaced in a fresh shake up.

Usually, airs every Thursday at 8pm on , in a flagship prime time slot.

However, Thursday May 8th is a special day as it has been 80 years since () in 1945.

Execs at the corporation have decided to air a special programme at 8pm as part of a series of special programmes for the occasion.

She welcomes a rotating panel of guest judges to help in the quest to find the best designer.

This comes after Alan revealed that on the show.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun's TV Mag, Alan has revealed one recipient of the makeover was left in tears.

He recalled: “I'm not naming and shaming, but there was one where we were waiting and the woman came around the corner crying.

“We were like: ‘Oh my God, she loves it!’ And as she was getting closer, I was like: ‘Oh, they're not happy tears!’”
