A man identified as Oscar has been killed as rival cult groups clashed in Oghara Community, Ethiope-West Local Government Government Area of Delta State.
His death is coming six days after one Biggie was killed during a cult clash. The incident occurred along Ibori road in Oghara Community.
At the time of this report, it was not clear if the deceased was a member of any cult group. The battle for supremacy is still between the Vikings and Eiye Confraternities.
However, a resident said his killing could be a revenge move by one of the cult groups that lost one of its members six days ago.
It was learnt that the cultists stormed the residence of the deceased with guns and other dangerous weapons on Thursday evening, shot sporadically to scare residents away before killing the deceased.
Currentl, there is tension in the community as residents appeal for government intervention in Oghara Community.
