A DIY enthusiast has revealed that she gave her old, horrible bathroom the ultimate makeover, whilst staying on a budget.

What was once a very , dark and dull space, has since been given a total freshen up and Melissa’s bathroom is now incredibly bright, chic and .

Thrilled with her ’s overhaul, Melissa took to to share a before and after look at the space, leaving many open-mouthed.
Posting on DIY On A Budget, a private group with 2.2 million members, Melissa posted snaps of her before she and her husband gave it an overhaul, alongside pictures of the finished space.
Alongside the post, Melissa wrote: “My husband and I have spent weeks working our butts off to make my dream bathroom a reality, and I'm so in love with the finished result!
“We both dug in to remove the old tiles and horrible textured walls.
“My husband did all the plumbing, electrics and plastering, and I helped re-tile, and .
“We did it all , around for the best for our .
“We were lucky to find the sideboard that we're using for the sinks for free on Facebay.
“I sanded and oiled it and painted the accents gold.”;
Now, Melissa’s bathroom is one-of-a-kind, with jaw-dropping flooring, bright green tiles and gorgeous gold details.

She confirmed that she got her green parker moss tiles from Tiles360 and nabbed her supernova white floor tiles from Tile Mountain.
She saved cash by getting from B&Q and while she got her bath from Appliances Direct, she nabbed her taps and sinks from .
To decorate the space, Melissa bought a mirror from , light fittings from , a plant pot from and towels from B&M.
Meanwhile, she got her ceiling rose from Amazon and her soap dispenser and toothbrush holder from TK Maxx.
