Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has advised cadets of Oyo State origin in the Regular Course 7 of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, to be agents of change wherever they find themselves.

Speaking on Wednesday, Makinde also urged them to be good ambassadors of the state.

The governor encouraged them to remain committed to their chosen career and to take on responsibilities without hesitation.

Makinde made these remarks while receiving the 39 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) of the course, who were in the state for their one-month mandatory internship.

He also took the opportunity to congratulate the officers.

Furthermore, Makinde commended the Oyo State Police Command for its efforts in maintaining security across the state.

“To the Oyo State indigene cadets in the Regular Course 7, I want to encourage you and pray that you achieve success in the career you have chosen.

“I wish you well and urge you to be good ambassadors of the state. You should be agents of change wherever you find yourselves,” he said.
