Beyond Paradise’s future ‘revealed’ after three series on BBC and local residents spoke on reality of living in TV town

THE BBC has reportedly renewed Beyond Paradise for a fourth season.

The show is reportedly coming back for a fourth season

While theBBC is yet to officially confirm the series' return, media reports suggest will begin filming its newest season in July, per TV Zone.

The media outlet claimed to have seen production listings to back its report.

follows DI Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) as he and his team attempt to solve baffling cases in the idyllic town.

But residents in the where the show is filmed have spoken out about the reality of living there and say it is far removed from what is seen on screen.

According to Cornwall Live, the area has faced problems far removed from the idyllic “paradise” fans see on-screen.

In a previous report, the outlet told how, like many coastal Cornish towns, Looe's concerns included “housing, economic and social deprivation, the death of the fishing trade and even loneliness.”

It revealed that, at the time, approximately 30 people were occupying a caravan park outside the town – having found themselves homeless.

Many properties had been converted into Airbnbs for tourists at a time of growing housing need.

“Hidden ” was also highlighted, with locals staying in vans, tents or on other people's sofas.

Looe is also infamous for its floods which can seriously impact local traders.
