Alexandra Burgio promptly headed to the judges desk and taped up ‘s lips too.

His fellow panelist , 54, sparked a series of cheers from the audience while Mis-teeq songstress , 46, chanted: “Go on girl.”

She then gave the 65-year-old a laser pen and asked him to choose a card, which she then turned over to reveal the word Fierce.

The Canadian then pulled the masking tape off head honcho's smackers, which also revealed the same word underneath.

Amanda then gushed “wow” as the audience burst into a round of applause.

Instagram users were also quick to celebrate the performer, who describes herself in her bio as: “Dance and make magic, in no particular order.”

She has also added the hashtag “your girl's favourite magician.”

One fan was quick to post: “Amazing! Best act tonight so far.”

A second posted: “Awww she was absolutely amazing fantastic,” while a third then put: “This was unbelievable.”

Yet despite their amazement some fans were quick to expose her reality TV past.

With 4,000 followers, she was first spotted on Canada's Got Talent – a show on which she has featured twice.

Just last year, she reached the semi final stage of BGT's sister show.

Alex has also found further fame as part of celebrated magician duo Penn and Teller's US TV series Fool Us, two years ago.

One fan was quick to take to YouTube to call out a “fix” as one put “so obviously rigged.”

Another moaned: “Nothing against the woman, BUT this act has already been on Canada Got Talent TWICE… once as an assistant and 2nd was on her own.

“Far as I know she got as far as the semi finals. She’s also been on Penn & Teller’s show.”

One then ranted: “Such a poor magic act ,and NOT ORIGINAL,” as another referenced her Penn and Teller skit and said: “Does she do anything else?”

A fan then mused: “Knew I’d seen her before. She did the exact same act on Penn & Teller: Fool Us.”

Yet one praised the performer and said: “She fooled Penn and Teller that's why she's this great.”

BGT continues on ITVX on Saturday.
