Biden’s tenure was period of depression for Americans – Trump’s Deputy Chief of Staff Miller

Published on April 07, 2025 at 06:11 PM

Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy to President Donald Trump, has claimed that American-born workers were marginalised during the previous administration.

In a post on his official X handle, Stephen Miller alleged that the Joe Biden administration prioritised foreign nationals in employment gains.

He wrote: “During Joe Biden’s Administration, US-born Americans gained zero net jobs in four years. All job gains went to foreign workers. For American workers, the Biden years were a depression.”;

Miller, a close ally of President Trump, appeared to be reacting to the recent surge in employment figures in the United States.

Data released on Friday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics indicated that were created in March. This figure surpassed the 140,000 jobs projected by economic analysts.
