BILLY Ray Cyrus’s ex-wife Tish reportedly suspected he had romantic feelings for Elizabeth Hurley over three years ago – though he always denied it.
The British icon and country singer seemed to confirm they were now in a relationship on Easter Sunday with a
Elizabeth’s son, Damien Hurley, adding fuel to the fire that it was a ‘hard launch’ of their romance.
But according to Daily Mail, the pair’s close bond was years in the making – with Tish, who was married to Billy Ray for 28 years, growing suspicious of them back three years ago.
Billy Ray and Elizabeth got to know each other while filming the 2022 movie Christmas In Paradise, with the site claiming their bond worried his then-wife.
“Tish had her thoughts and suspicions at the time that he was cheating on her with Liz, but Billy Ray flat out denied it,”; the source told the site.
“They got very close on the set and seeing that they are together now is a slap in the face for Tish, but it also confirms that she was likely right about her suspicions.”;
The source added that the pair had “never stopped being in contact”;.
Tish and Billy Ray called time on in April 2022, but they were still together at the time of filming Christmas in Paradise.
The couple share three children – Miley, Noah and Braison – with Billy Ray adopting Tish’s children Brandi and Trace from her previous marriage.
Since they married in 1993, the family created a musical dynasty, with Miley Cyrus becoming an international pop icon, Noah Cyrus becoming an actress and singer as well, and Trace leading ‘Shake It’ pop-punk group Metro Station before going on to other bands.
However, since Tish and Billy Ray’s 2022 split, the family appear to have become divided, with children missing from both Tish and Billy Ray’s subsequent weddings.
Billy Ray married in 2021, but after just seven months of marriage.
A nasty divorce battle followed, with Firerose walking away from the relationship with $0.
Tish is now married to Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell, tying the knot in August 2023 with Miley as her maid of honour.
Trace has also spoken out about his father, saying in a long post back in January that he “barely recognized”; the person he once “idolized”; following his performance at Trump's inauguration.
