BLACKPINK’s Rosé has just achieved an exciting first on the Billboard 200!
On April 29 local time, Billboard revealed that Rosé’s solo album “”; was still going strong on the Billboard 200 (its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States) at No. 110, marking its 20th consecutive week on the chart.
As a result, “rosie”; has now become the first album by a female K-pop soloist ever to spend 20 weeks on the Billboard 200.
Meanwhile, Rosé and Bruno Mars’ smash hit “”;âwhich overtook FIFTY FIFTY’s “”; last week to become the song by a female K-pop artist in the history of Billboard’s Hot 100âcontinued its impressive run on the chart. In its 27th consecutive week on the chart, “APT.”; came in at No. 16.
Rosé also extended her record as the longest-charting female K-pop soloist on Billboard’s Artist 100, where she ranked No. 77 in her 28th overall week on the chart.
Outside of the Hot 100, “APT.”; held steady at No. 2 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 3 on the Global 200, in addition to sweeping the No. 4 spot on the Digital Song Sales chart and Pop Airplay chart. “APT.”; also maintained its position at No. 15 on the Radio Songs chart and stayed strong at No. 19 on the Streaming Songs chart.
