A BODY has been found washed up on a beach in Benidorm.
The unidentified corpse was discovered by the National on Wednesday evening, The Sun understands.



A spokesman from the force in Alicante said that the body belonged to a white male.
He said: “We can confirm that a body was found on a beach in Benidorm last night.
“The individual has not been identified as there was no ID on his person.”
The force said it could not provide more details, adding that its main focus is to identify the individual.
The Costa Blanca has seen an explosion of in recent months, stemming from the region’s growing appeal among criminal networks.
