Body found in woodland search for missing teenager as cops announce ‘extremely sad update’

A BODY has been found in a Lancashire woodland in a search for a missing teenager.

Luke Fingleton, 19, was last seen at a McDonald's on March 27.

The grim discovery was made yesterday afternoon off Haslingden Road in Rawtenstall.

Luke's death is not being treated as suspicious.

A police spokesperson said: “We have an extremely sad update to bring you about our search for missing Luke Fingleton who was reported missing from his home in Bacup by family last Sunday.”
