A BELOVED American-style diner has shut after serving locals for nearly 20 years.
The seafront site made the announcement on .
on King's Road in revealed the closure would be taking place with “immediate effect”.

Ending the era for the small independent family business, the blamed its ending lease and planned building renovations for the sad news.
Many took to the comments section of the post to express their despair.
One former diner wrote: “I've been coming here for 17 years. At one time we would come here once a week in an attempt to drink every single milkshake on the menu.
“I took all my first dates here, as well as friends, relatives, and business associates. I came here to celebrate , and .”
Another put: “I’m soooo sad to hear this! You have been a stable from both my childhood and adulthood in that time and I will be devastated to see you go!”
Someone else wrote: “This is so sad.. you've been absolutely fabulous as our children have grown up and enjoyed visits here so often.”
