CELEBRITY Big Brother’s Ella Rae Wise has revealed the heartbreaking reason her relationship with Dan Edgar was doomed from day one.
The reality star, 24, entered the famous house just a week after her split from co-star Dan, 34.
broke down in tears just days into the experiment as she told her housemates that she had given up trying to change him.
Before Ella's stint on the ITV show, she admitted her and Dan, who have a ten year age gap, clashed on their future plans – with him wanting kids and to move to and her wanting to stay in the UK.
She told Flying Eze: “Yeah, he [Dan] wants children. But I don't know if he wants children yet. He's still got a lot to do in his life.
“He doesn't want to live in the UK. He wants to live in Spain.
“I'm 24, I don’t want to live out there.
“I just feel our stars aren't aligned.
“I just feel that he's really conscious about wasting time with someone.”
Ella admitted her ex, who previously dates for six years, has struggled with trauma from his past relationships.
She went on to say: “I think where he's been burnt back in the day with relationships, he brings a lot of that into a new relationship. I don't think he can let go.
“And if he doesn't feel as if I'm giving a lot, he really holds back.
“But he's a man in the situation and I feel like I want him to wear the trousers.
“I don't want to be the girl that gives, gives, gives, gives because I've been hurt too.
“I have my reasons why I'm very withdrawn from things. It just isn't working.”
It comes after Flying Eze revealed that Ella dumped boyfriend in a bid to have a.
A source told Flying Eze that , 24, had set her sights on ‘s Chris before she had even split from Dan, 34.
They said that Ella wanted to be part of a “CBB love story” in order to “boost her chances of staying longer” on the ITV fly-on-the-wall show.
A source told Flying Eze: “Ella had already been telling pals over the past few weeks that she didn't see a long-term future for Dan.
“It was clear their relationship was nearing the end and with Ella having managed to land CBB, she knew she wanted to give producers what they were after.”
They explained that Ella was aware that she is not as well know as some of the other housemates and knew she needed a romance storyline to secure the votes.
“She's a smart girl and knows exactly how this industry works and why she makes good TV and with being one of the lesser known names on the cast, Ella told pals that she thought an on-screen romance would boost her chances of staying in the house long-term,” they said.
“As soon as she heard would be living with her, she targeted him to be her next TV lover.
“There's a reason her opening VT was all about flirting as she's desperate to be part of the next CBB love story.”
CBB fans have hit out at Ella for playing a game on the show as she failed to strike up a romance with Chris.
Instead Chris has formed a close bond with US star JoJo Siwa.
