However, ITV viewers have since claimed that his exit was completely planned, due to comments he made on launch night.
Taking to the social media fan forum site , fans claimed that he predicted he would only last four days on the reboot of the long-running social experiment.
A fan created a new thread titled: “Night 1 – Mickey says: “I’m only going to be in here for 4 days right...”; – was the whole thing planned?”
The post read: “Is it possible Mickey was meant to be in there a few days. Stir up some trouble, get some headlines for ITV and then leave?”
Fans flocked to the comments section, seemingly agreeing that he only planned for a short stint.
One user wrote: “Yeah, he very clearly had no intention on staying for long. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was in his contract and both ITV and he agreed to eventually ‘remove' him.”
A second suggested: “I think he got paid too and it was a staged leaving. Last nights episode was just weird. It felt like a lot of crucial bits were left out and all of a sudden things had escalated and people were upset.”
“He had no clue what he was letting himself in for and the likelihood is his agent just said go in there and be as outrageous as you can and you’ll only last 4 days until the public vote you out, boom easy pay day,” commented a third viewer.
While someone else noted: “Yes it was orchestrated , he wanted to get out in the first eviction but went further the other day to get out because his fee is pocket change for him.”
And a fifth added: “I definitely think he's done / said things on purpose to get kicked out either by BB or the public – I noticed whenever BB were telling him off, he couldn't help but smirk!”

Big Brother continues at 9pm on ITV and is available to stream on ITVX.
