Champions League: 4 key Real Madrid players to miss Arsenal clash on Tuesday

Published on April 06, 2025 at 02:56 PM

Real Madrid will be without four key players for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg at Arsenal on Tuesday.

Los Blancos were boosted by news that UEFA will not ban Antonio Rudiger, Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr and Dani Ceballos.

The four players were all at risk of being banned for the clash at Emirates Stadium after UEFA opened an investigation into their celebrations following the dramatic last-16 triumph over Atletico Madrid on penalties.

However, Ferland Mendy and Dani Ceballos will not make the trip to London, as they are not fully fit.

The duo are just recovering from injuries and missed the 2-1 defeat to Valencia in LaLiga on Saturday.

Aurelien Tchouameni is suspended for the match after picking up a booking against Manchester City.

Lunin is yet to return to full training with the rest of the squad, while Thibaut Courtois looks set to man the posts at the Emirates.
