The United States Senate Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer has said that there is chaos within President Donald Trump's cabinet.
Schumer was reacting to Musk's attack on Trump's trade advisor, Peter Navarro, calling him a moron for calling Tesla a car assembler, not a manufacturer.
Schumer said, “The chaos within the Trump administration was shown a few minutes ago when Elon Musk called Peter Navarro, the chief architect of these tariffs, ‘a moron.'”;
DAILY POST reports that Navarro, in an interview on the US's latest automobile tariff, said the company uses foreign-made parts to make their products.
However, Musk said Novarro's claims on Tesla electric vehicles were false, claiming he is “dumber than a sack of bricks.”
Schumer, a Democratic senator from New York, had earlier described Trump's tariff as chaotic and may push the country into recession.
