CHARLOTTE FLAIR has opened up on her divorce from Andrade for the first time.

The WWE star, 38, began dating her fellow wrestler in 2019.

The pair then got engaged in 2020, before two years later.

Andrade, 35, was Flair's second husband, after she was married to Riki Johnson between 2010 and 2013.

They split in 2024, not long after Flair suffered during a match.

Facing Asuka, Flair tore her ACL, MCL and meniscus – leaving her career in doubt.

Appearing on Sherri, the WWE star was asked about how she handled such difficulties in her personal and professional life.

Flair admitted: “I didn't.”

She then added: “I felt like I was failing at my job. I felt like I was failing at my personal life.”

At this point, Flair began to cry.

She then breathed deeply as she said: “Hold on, let me gather myself.”

Flair then explained: “When I made the decision to file for divorce, the only thing I kept thinking was I just didn't want anyone to know.

“Oh, my gosh, I have failed again.”

Flair has since returned to action – winning the women's Royal Rumble earlier this year.

The popular wrestler will face Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania 41 later this month.

On overcoming her challenges during the last year-and-a-half, Flair recently : “2024 tried to end me, it really kicked my a** over and over. The time away, the knee injury gave me clarity and perspective.

“And I would choose this again and again. But I did come back feeling like people thought I was coming back older and less than.

“If anyone knows the real me or my character, that was never going to happen.

“Feeling that way, and what I’d been through, I feel like I’ve really owned the injury that could have been career-ending.

“And understandably so that people felt this way.

“But no, I missed Wrestlemania last year, it’s my domain, I’ve done my homework. Now I get to enjoy that.”
