Chris Eubank Jr will remain in hospital following a gripping victory over Conor Benn on Saturday night.
Eubank Jr was taken to The Royal London as a precautionary measure and initial tests have come back clear.
However, the British boxer is likely to remain in hospital until Monday.
The 35-year-old's promoter wrote on X: “On recommendation of the onsite doctor, Chris Eubank Jr has been taken to hospital by ambulance for precautionary checks.”
During the fight, Eubank Jr sported a significant cut above his right eye and appeared battered, prompting Benn to speculate his opponent might have sustained a broken jaw.
His father, Chris Eubank Snr, has been at his bedside, along with other members of his family.
In an enthralling encounter at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which lived up to the legacy of their fathers, the two fights clashed in front of a massive crowd of 67,000.
Eubank Jr emerged victorious as all three judges scored in his favour.
