A SIMPLE trick could scrape any stubborn grease or burnt-on food residue from your air fryer tray.

Every air fryer owner is guilty of neglecting the appliance's food tray every now and then.
While it is recommended to the tray or basket after every use, sometimes it can be easier to put it off.
And since don't leave residual grease to the extent of other appliances, forgoing cleaning is even easier.
However, a simple hands-off is said to leave your tray sparkling, with no scrubbing involved.
The team at Lottomart recommend using a denture tablet to tackle the built-up grime, reports the Manchester Evening News.
“These fizzing tablets are typically used for cleaning dentures, but they are packed with powerful ingredients like peroxide, oxidisers, baking soda, and washing soda,” a Lottomart rep explained.
“These all work together to break down the stubborn grime when mixed with warm water; the effervescent fizz acts as a catalyst, loosening grease and residue, making it much easier to wipe away.”

The tablets, which are designed to break down grime on Invisalign retainers or dentures, also prove useful on Air Fryers.
To try out the hack, start by emptying the air fryer drawer and remove any leftover food or crumbs.
Then quickly wipe out the basket with a wet paper towel, ridding all the loose debris.
Next, fill the drawer with hot water, covering the areas with the most grease build-up.
Place the denture tablet in the hot water to activate the process.
Once the tablet hits the water, it will start to fizz, breaking down any grease and grime.
Allow the tablet to dissolve, leaving it to sit for around 15 to 20 minutes.
The fizzy action will loosen even the toughest residue, making it much easier to clean.
After the tablet has dissolved, wipe away the loosened grease with a sponge or cloth.
The residue will lift off easily, with little to no scrubbing required.
An bit of extra scrubbing should do the trick for any stubborn spots.
Finally, rinse the drawer under warm water to remove any remaining tablet residue, drying thoroughly with a clean towel.
