Congressman lists five promises Trump failed to fulfill after hundred days in office

Published on April 30, 2025 at 07:04 AM

US Congressman Set Moulton has listed five campaign promises of President Donald Trump that are yet to be fulfilled even after a hundred days in office.

In a video on his official X handle, Moulton said the president has broken several promises he made during the campaign.

In the video, the lawmaker could be heard saying, “Mr. President, you are a hundred days in. You made a lot of promises, but it’s hard to keep track of how you have broken them.”;

He slammed the president for failing to bring down prices and end the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

The lawmaker criticized President Trump for allegedly changing his perception of the Russian President.

The Congressman also tackled the US President for failing to bring back accountability as promised.

He said, “You said you would lower prices, but prices are only going up. Actually, the only prices going down are stock prices, which are sinking people’s retirement.”;

“You said you would stop the Ukraine war on day one, it is day hundred, but the war is not stopping.”;

“You said you trusted Putin; all of a sudden, now, you think what the rest of us realized for a long time became the trust. An enemy of the United States.”;

“You said you would deport dangerous criminals, but you can’t even prove that they are criminals.”;

“You deported a four-year-old battling stage-four cancer instead.”;

“You said you would bring back accountability, but look at your secretary of defense, what a dumpster fire the Pentagon is. That’s not accountability.”;
