CORONATION Street star Lisa George looks worlds away from her former character Beth Tinker after undergoing a major body transformation.
The actress, 52, flaunted the results of her recent weight loss on in a series of new snaps taken during her holiday.



admitted she was “proud of how far” she'd come on her weight loss journey.
The star was forced to shed the pounds and undergo the transformation amid a series of issues.
In the new snaps, Lisa beamed as she donned a bright pink top as she dined out at a restaurant on her trip.
Showing off her very trim figure, she wrote alongside the snaps: “Feeling proud of how far I’ve come.”
She then added a red love-heart emoji and the hashtags “new beginnings” and “let's do this”.
Lisa also in another photo in which she wore a bright orange mini-skirt with a sparkly long-sleeved top.
The former soap star further added to the snap: “She’s still got it.”
Lisa's old colleagues were quick to gush over the star as they went wild over her trim figure.
Sue Devaney, known for playing Debbie Webster, commented: “I’m proud of YOU!!!”
Whilst Sally Carmen-Duttine added:“You look great Lisa.”
Lisa first spoke out about her body transformation last year.
Having suffered from , Lisa opted to do a “complete overhaul” of her diet.
She told the Daily Mail in May last year: “I've been through the , am using a sensor so I can check my sugar levels and keep my Diabetes under control and I've had a complete overhaul of my diet.
“I've always eaten really healthily but with everything going on with my eyes and my Diabetes I went to see a nutritionist.”
Lisa managed to lose a stone with the actress adding: “I cut out so much from my diet and am a stone lighter than I was last year.
“I'm loving the weight I'm at now. I went out on Friday and wore a velvet suit that was a size 10.
“I have not been in a size 10 since I was 28!”
