The lifeless body of an unidentified 43-year-old man was recovered from a stream in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara state, on Tuesday.
Hassan Adekunle, the spokesman for the Kwara state fire service, disclosed this in a statement made available to FLYINGEZE BLOG in Ilorin.
He said personnel from the fire service promptly responded to a call in the Isale Asa Amilegbe area of Ilorin, Ilorin East Local Government, at about 17:08 hours.
“The dedicated firemen exhibited their remarkable skills and successfully recovered the lifeless body of an unidentified man, approximately 43 years of age. The body was handed over to a team of police officers from the ‘A’ Division of the Nigeria Police Force in Ilorin,”; he added.
The director of the state fire service, Prince Falade John, emphasised the importance of safety and urged the general public to remain vigilant at all times.
