She first picked out the tiles she wanted, which were the GoodHome Poprock Grey Tile Stone effect Self-adhesive Vinyl tile, and cleaned the walls before applying silicone.

While the tiles already had adhesive on them, she used extra silicone to make sure they didn't come off.

She then applied the stick-on tiles to the wall before using ready-made grout to seal them and prevent any water getting behind them.

“I just got the cheapest silicone from B&Q and a tub of ready made grout,” she explained.

People were quick to take to the comments and many loved the transformation but others warned it could get mouldy.

One person wrote: “It looks really nice. But the condensation will get behind them, and you’ll get mould & mildew.”

“The mould that will grow behind these will be unreal,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “Think I might have to copy you, I just had to pay for a new bathroom I really don’t wanna pay for walls done too.”

“What a difference, looks lush babe, well done,”; claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Looks miles better.”
