Published on April 26, 2025 at 06:22 AM

Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu has called on the people of the South East to key into the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

Kalu, who said that President Tinubu has performed impressively in the South East, said that the zone should show more than a passive acceptance of his administration.

He made the calls in Umuahia while unveiling the Abia State headquarters of the Renewed Hope Partners, RHP, in Umuahia.

The Deputy Speaker, who said that the target of the RHP is to bring the region to the country’s mainstream politics, noted that the present administration should be embraced and supported for continuity in 2027.

Kalu said to achieve this, he will initiate programmes to aggressively disseminate the lofty achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to communities and households in the South-East.

He further said that the South East stands to gain more by supporting President Bola Tinubu now and in 2027.
