‘My boyfriend dumped me by text the day after a near-fatal accident’
Danni Menzies, 36, TV presenter

“I’m a real romantic. I want love and I want romance in my life.
When I worked on , I spent weeks abroad filming and there wasn’t enough time to get into a regular routine with someone.
I felt like I was never going to meet anyone â I need someone who will get on a plane and live like I do, which is hard to find.
I’m also very picky. I’m currently dating someone I used to work with, but that comes with complications.
Thankfully, he’s pretty chill and he doesn’t mind me spilling the tea on him.
Alex and I have big personalities â we’re very open, but she has a lot more sex than I do.
When the guy I’m dating sends me sexy messages, Alex helps me with my naughty replies! In our vodcast, we’ll be talking about everything from sex to me , which I’m about to do .
I used to worry about what people think, but life’s too short. Just have fun, enjoy yourself and say whatever you want.
Like Alex, I come from a very open-minded family, but I haven’t told them exactly how much I’ll be sharing on the vodcast.
I think they’ll just be happy if I’m happy, after everything I’ve been through.
Over the last few years I’ve been on a crazy journey.
I left A Place In Flying Eze after six years and was exploring , including reality TV â then I and everything just stopped.
I was hit by a moped and face-planted the curb. I needed and had a month-long concussion.

I could have had brain damage or even died.
I was dating someone and he ended it the day after the accident via text, when I looked like Shrek.
That was pretty brutal. It hurt as much as the accident.
Six months later, I had a breakdown about how I looked.
I wasn’t getting any work â there had been conversations about reality shows before the accident, but a traumatic brain injury and facial injuries mean you can’t do or .
Things either make or break you, and the accident did nearly break me for a bit.
I didn’t date for a while afterwards.
Before, I was probably more superficial, looking for the wrong things in a person.
I had a habit of who had Peter Pan syndrome â they let me down and made me question myself.
Now I‘m more confident and feel better in my own skin, I’m very much about who the person is and how they make me feel.”;
‘I’m an independent boss bitch who dates both men and women!’
Alex Serruys, 32, content creator

“My dating life is complete chaos!
I’ve had flings with females, but not a serious, intense relationship.
I tend to end up with men, I think because they’re more dominating, which I’m drawn to â though the bedroom is the only place I’d allow a man to dominate!
I’ve been engaged twice.
The second time was a s**tshow, as we were only doing it to move to .
But we didn’t get married, we didn’t move to Spain, and we broke up one month later!
The first was with my French bulldog Miko’s dad. He’s 18 years older, and we met when I was quite wild in my 20s.
In the five years we were together, he showed me a different side to life and I calmed down and found my feet.
However, that made me grow â and we grew apart.
We all want the fairy tale, and at one point, that’s what I thought I was getting with him.
But something in me said it wasn’t for ever. He’s moved on and we’re still friends.
I’m 32 now, so when I meet someone I have to decide when to have conversations about wanting children.
I have (PCOS), so when do I let my date know that getting pregnant could be a struggle?

Do I drop it into conversation on date one or three months in? I’ll definitely be chatting about topics like this on our vodcast.
I’m upfront and direct, which can scare people.
I have a very open family â I message the group chat I have with my mum and dad about my one-night stands.
It’s like talking about the weather in our household!
People can find my honesty offensive, but if you don’t like it, don’t listen.
I’ll be opening up about everything from my sex life to â and I won’t be holding back.
I’m a big believer in toys being part of your sex life.
A guy I dated delivered a box of to my house â it was interesting to see what he picked, as I think it says a lot about what type of person you are.
He’s still lingering on the sidelines, it’s just whether I take him off the bench or not. The roster has been busy recently!
Sometimes I think a date is not going to be worth my dinnertime, but I suck it up because I’m a single dog mum, so it saves me a food shop!
I think, ultimately, I am looking for love.
I’m a hyper-independent boss bitch, but I also really love the idea of being a stay-at-home wife with kids and dogs.“
