EFCC arrests 27 suspected internet fraudsters in Jalingo

Operatives of the Gombe Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 27 suspected internet fraudsters in Jalingo, Taraba State.

The suspects were apprehended on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Fenson Guest House and Mile 6 in Jalingo.

In a post on its X handle, the EFCC said the arrests were made following credible intelligence linking the fraudsters to alleged cybercrime activities.

Items recovered during the operation include a 2013 Toyota Camry, 27 mobile phones, five laptops, and other electronic devices.

The suspects will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
