Manchester United winger, Antony has insisted that the club is going through a difficult time under their manager Ruben Amorim.
The Brazilian international said this while wishing Amorim the best of luck this season.
He also labelled the Portuguese as a very good intelligent coach, adding that he has a good relationship with him.
“I have only had a short time working with Amorim, but he's a very good, intelligent coach,” Antony told ESPN.
“United are going through a difficult time, but he's a good coach. I had a good relationship with him but I needed new challenge. I wish him best luck in the world.”
Antony joined Manchester United from Ajax for £85million in 2022.
But he failed to impress at the Red Devils and as a result he wasn't used regularly by Amorim before he was sent on loan to Betis.
Real Betis captain, Isco, recently said said that permanently from Manchester United.
Antony has been hugely impressive for the Betis so far this season, scoring four goals and registering four assists in 12 appearances.
