Published on April 02, 2025 at 09:17 PM

Paul Onuachu was on target as Southampton were held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace at St Mary's Stadium.

Onuachu broke the deadlock on 20 minutes with a fantastic header. Mateus Fernandes crossed the ball into the penalty area from the right-hand side of the pitch to the Nigerian international. The forward rose to direct his header past Dean Henderson.

It was Onuachu's fourth league goal of the season for the Saints.

Substitute Matheus Franca salvaged a point for Crystal Palace in stoppage time.

Joe Aribo featured as a substitute for Southampton in the game.
