Wolves manager, VÃtor Pereira has said his team defeated Manchester United 1-0 in the Premier League on Sunday because his players played with their “souls”.
Pereira watched as Pablo Sarabia's second half free-kick gave Wolves victory at Old Trafford.
Speaking at his post-match interview, Pereira said: “It was not our best match. Technically and tactically, we know that we can play better.
“We played with our souls, with our spirit and that is what I saw in the game.
“The supporters believed and the moment that we had a chance, we scored.”
Speaking on Sarabia's free-kick, Pereira added: “He works a lot on the free-kicks. I like him a lot as a player and a person because he has the character that I like.”
The win over Man United pushed Wolves to 15th position in the Premier League table after 33 matches.
Pereira's side are behind Man United on the log on goals difference.
