Europa League leading scorers head of semi-final fixtures

Olympiacos attacker, Ayoub El Kaabi remains the joint-top leading scorer in the UEFA Europa League, UEL, following the conclusion of the quarter-final second leg fixtures on Thursday night.

Recall that Manchester United defeated Lyon 5-4 to advance to the Europa League semi-final, Tottenham Hotspur also defeated Frankfurt.

Athletic Club won 2-0 against Rangers, while Bodø/Glimt defeated Lazio via penalty shoot-out.

However, El Kaabi, alongside Bodø/Glimt's Kasper Høgh are currently the leading scorers in the Europa League this season.

They both have seven goals each to their names ahead of the Europa League last 4 fixtures next month.

Europa League leading scorers so far:

7 goals – Ayoub El Kaabi and Kasper Høgh

6 goals – Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray), Samu (Porto) and Barnabás Varga (Ferencváros), Malick Fofana (Lyon), Václav ÄŒerný (Rangers) and Youssef En-Nesyri (Fenerbahçe).

5 goals – Bruno Fernandes (Man United), Iñaki Williams (Athletic Club) and Rasmus Højlund (Manchester United).

The Europa League semi-final first leg fixtures will take place on Thursday, May 1.
