Europa League: We’re extraordinary – Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams issues warning to Man Utd

Athletic Bilbao winger, Nico Williams has warned Manchester United ahead of both sides' UEFA Europa League semi-final clash.

Williams said his team is extraordinary, adding that they are doing very well and will continue in the same way to reach the Europa League final.

The Spain international helped Athletic Bilbao to reach the Europa League last-4 on Thursday as he scored a goal in their 2-0 win against Rangers.

Athletic Bilbao will now face Man United, who defeated French Ligue 1 side Lyon.

“Every kid wants to play at Old Trafford. We have the goal of winning the Europa League and, next year, to crush the Champions League. Little by little,” Williams told Spanish publication AS.

“I think our motto of going ‘on the down low’ is the best. We are doing very well, and we need to continue like this to reach the final to continue this streak to help the team. The team is extraordinary.

“We are going to celebrate this victory. San Mamés deserves it more than anyone.

“We are doing very well to reach the semifinal we want. One more step before the final, and hopefully we can get there.”

The Europa League semi-final fixtures will take place in May.
