The two continental heavyweights battled it out in Holland to earn a spot in next year̢۪s knockout stage.

Maurizio Sarri claims Feyenoord fans threw urine at the Lazio bench in last night’s Europa League gameLazio required just one point to progress, but ended up losing 1-0.

The Italians are now ruing their missed chances after being demoted to the Europa Conference League.

But Sarri and Co were left feeling even more disgruntled after allegedly being subjected to bad behaviour from a section of home supporters.

Sarri claims some fans hurled bags of urine at the Lazio bench.

And although he did not clarify whether anyone had been hit, Sarri said the actions left his staff frustrated.

One player who has been key under Sarri is Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The Serbian midfielder has been tipped for a Premier League move for several years.

He has five goals and seven assists in 18 games so far, and has also been linked with Juventus.
