That's because one expert in the field, Amir Anwary, has taken to to spill the beans about some much-loved breeds he'd never own due to professional experiences at work.
White Bull Terrier
The first breed that had made it onto the shortlist was the , particularly those with a white fur.
Although they're ”a lovely, goofy breed”, the pet whizz warned that ”their skin is always reacting to something”.
”Have you seen their pores? Their pores are always inflamed, always irritated. Their nails grow really long, it's really difficult to clip them.”
English Bulldog

”I've always loved the temperament of the English Bulldog – but because they are a brachycephalic breed, they struggle to breathe, they overheat very quickly, they can't exercise a lot.”
What's more, the pro also warned that this breed is also prone to allergies and often tend to get nasty infections in-between the skin folds on their face.
”It's a very high-maintenance dog. I love them – but they're not for me.”
Bernese Mountain dog
Although Amir said this breed has ”a lovely temperament”, the are prone to a plethora of problems, including hip and elbow issues.
Worst of all – according to the pet guru, this breed only lives anywhere from six to eight years.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Cheeky, adorable and with stunning fur, the is, unfortunately, another pooch that had made it on to the list.
Amir, who posts under the username @amirthevet, are prone to a genetic condition – and by the age of ten, about 90% of these pooches will develop a mitral valve disease.
This, sadly, can lead to heart failure.
”So this breed is going to be on chronic heart medication, which can get really, really expensive – and they'll be going to regular vet visits.”
Siberian Husky
Sharing his verdict for the popular breed, Amir said the SIberian Husky was ”loud” with ”way too much energy”.
”If they get bored, they will literally destroy your whole garden,” the vet warned, adding this breed is also ”way too stubborn”.
