“ABSU has zero tolerance for examination malpractices, use of hard drugs, indecent dressing, sexual harassment and other vices, the culprits will be expelled”, Prof. Okeudo vowed.

He said that there is a good security architecture in and around the school, as the students, staff, and other members of the university community are protected by the Abia State Government’s Operation Crush and other coordinated security arrangements.

Prof. Okeudo further thanked Governor Alex Otti for his efforts to restore the glory of the institution.

In his speech, Governor Alex Otti, who was represented by the Abia State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Professor Uche Eme Uche, said that his administration is committed to upgrading the University to a world-class institution.
