At least five people have been killed in a mass shooting at Florida State University's Tallahassee campus.

According to police, two gunmen opened fire around noon near the campus' student union on Thursday.

One suspect is in custody, while the other was killed by police. Their identities have yet to be made public.

At least four other individuals have been injured.

The Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Hospital stated that at least one victim of the shooting is in critical condition.
