A former attorney in the United States, Daniel Kotzin has disclosed at least five reasons that led him out of the Democratic Party.
In a post on his X handle, Kotzin, a former brand president at Levi Strauss, pointed out some areas the party allegedly deviated from its known ideology.
First, the former attorney claimed that the Democratic Party “used to support workers, but now it supports corporations”.
The lawyer also mentioned that the party “used to support peace, but now it supports war”.
“It used to support free speech, now it supports censorship.
“It used to support individual liberties, now it supports collectivism”, Kotzin added.
DAILY POST reports that the lawyer, who has been a Democrat has been supporting the current administration led by President Donald Trump lately.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he became adamantly opposed to the lockdowns and considered voting for Trump in 2020, but instead went with the Libertarian Party due to the then-president’s vaccine push.
